The possible accession of ex-prime-minister Vasile Tarlev to the Centrist Union from Moldova (UCM), announced last week by the current leader of this faction Mihai Petrache, is included in the method of communists to disperse the electorate’s votes.
A declaration in this context was made on Monday, in Balti, by Dumitru Diacov, leader of the Democratic Party from Moldova.
As DECA-press informs, Diacov said that the communists’ method denotes the launching of several parties which would gather per 2-4% of the votes, so that PCRM takes over votes in addition to the real percentage it will gather.
«For seven years, when Vasile Tarlev was a prime-minister, he obeyed the governing party in everything and participated at all communists’ events”, Dumitru Diacov said.
If Tarlev wants to join UCM in the communist faction and become an organization working for its former leaders it is an obvious and understandable thing. If Tarlev will try to become a member of the opposition party, as Petrache announced, I would be very surprised, the leader of democrats also said.
We remind you that the current leader of UCM, Mihai Petrache, declared on September 18th that, this faction is negotiating with the ex-prime-minister Tarlev for two months and that he is ready to run for the function of president of the party at the Congress from September 27th. |
